The duration depends on the request, goals, and depth of the therapeutic work. The process progresses step by step, with the goal of substantial and lasting change.
Clinical hypnotherapy is a therapeutic process that utilizes relaxation, focused attention, and mental imagery to help the individual become more in touch with their thoughts, feelings, and internal processes. It is not sleep or loss of control. The individual remains conscious, listening, and can actively participate in the process.
Cognitive Behavioral Hypnotherapy combines elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with techniques from clinical hypnotherapy, relaxation, mental imagery, and therapeutic language. The goal is to help the individual identify dysfunctional patterns of thought, emotion, and behavior and cultivate more functional ways of managing them.
Clinical hypnotherapy can be used to support issues such as anxiety, stress, panic attacks, phobias, psychosomatic symptoms, low self-esteem, sleep difficulties and changing unwanted habits. Its application always depends on the needs of each person and the therapeutic framework that has been agreed upon.
Hypnotherapy can help manage anxiety through relaxation techniques, breathing control, mental imagery, and processing of thoughts associated with the anxiety response. It is often used in conjunction with psychotherapy to help the individual better understand the vicious cycle of anxiety and learn more functional ways of managing it.
Clinical hypnotherapy can be used as a supportive tool in the therapeutic work with panic attacks, mainly through physical relaxation, breathing, demystification of physical symptoms and cognitive processing of fear. The goal is not simply to "stop" the attack, but to understand and reduce the fear surrounding the symptoms.
In many cases, psychosomatic symptoms are related to stress, tension, and difficulty regulating the nervous system. Hypnotherapy can help the person connect with their body in a calmer way, reduce tension, and recognize how thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations interact with each other. It is not a substitute for medical evaluation when physical symptoms are present.
The number of sessions depends on the request, difficulty, history and goals of each person. Some issues may require 16-20 sessions, while others require more comprehensive psychotherapeutic work. Specific phobias usually require about 10 sessions. In the first session, the request is explored and an initial treatment plan is discussed.
Psychotherapy is a broader therapeutic process that helps the individual to understand themselves, their patterns, their relationships and their difficulties. Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic tool that can be integrated into this framework. At the Hypnotherapy Clinic, clinical hypnotherapy is not applied in isolation, but is combined with psychotherapeutic thinking and clinical assessment.

No. In clinical hypnotherapy, the person does not lose control and does not do anything they do not want to. The process is done with respect, safety and cooperation. The patient can speak, stop or return fully to the present moment at any time.
Usually yes. In clinical hypnotherapy the person remains in touch with the process and in most cases remembers what was said. The experience is more like deep relaxation and focus than a loss of memory or control.
Each person experiences hypnotherapy differently. Some feel relaxed, calm, heaviness in the body, or more intense inner concentration. Others remain more mentally active and follow the process with full awareness. There is no “right” or “wrong” way to experience it.
Yes, in many cases hypnotherapy can be done online, as long as there is a quiet space, good connection and appropriate safety conditions. The online application is evaluated according to the request, history and needs of the patient.
